Hello
Does anyone know if there is a DXL function or a code that could compare the OBJECT TEXT of 2 OBJECTS in different Baselines ? And print the Delta or the modifications ?
Thanks

There is in fact a diff function that will give you the modifications of two texts (non-richtext). You can apply this function to the object text (non-richtext) of two objects. What you cannot do using this function:
-
compare formatting
-
compare OLE objects
-
compare pictures
So in these cases you could take the lastModifiedTime to check if the object has been modified since the baseline. You will get some false positives and for pictures I am not sure if "last modifed" is set. So summing up: There is no "compareToBaselineAndGimmeDiff" function.

Did you manage to get this to work??
I thought the diff function only works on rtf strings?
If you were successful, do you mind posting the code that you used to get this to work please.
